ANKARA (A.A) - 17.08.2005 - The People's Democracy Party (DEHAP) announced on Wednesday that it would join the Democratic Society Movement (DTH).

DEHAP issued a statement following its party assembly meeting on Tuesday, reaffirming that it would dissolve itself and join a new political movement namely DTH which they believed would help more as far as the realization of hopes of workers of Turkey and Kurds.

"We have decided to join the DTH to strengthen the democratic Kurdish movement and unity among Kurds and to support DTH which will become a party soon," DEHAP said.
